SSC CPO 2020-21 notification is released on 17-06-2020. The Staff Selection Commission has released the Notification for SSC CPO 2020 for 1564 Vacancies of Sub-Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces and Delhi Police.
 The Staff Selection Commission conducts a national Level exam known as CPO (CPO full form is: Central Police Organization) exam. The exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of SI (Sub-Inspector) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

  • Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, mastercard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

◈ Age (As on 01-01-2021):
  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 25 years
  • i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2001 (both dates inclusive)

    Police only (Category Codes-17, 18 and 19)
    17 Departmental candidates (Unreserved) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date. Up to 30 years of age
    18 Departmental candidates (OBC) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date. Up to 33 years of age
    19 Departmental candidates (SC/ ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date. Up to 35 years of age
◈ Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
◈ Additional Qualifications:
  • For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only, Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests.

Pattern

  • SSC CPO exam has three different phases that candidates need to clear in order to get selected for various posts in Delhi Police, CAPFs, CISFs etc. SSC CPO Paper 1 is an Objective Multiple Choice Question paper. Paper II exam is English Comprehension Test, while PET/PST Test is conducted to check the endurance (medical and physical strength) of the candidate.

      • Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes
      • Eye standards should be without visual correction of any kind even by glasses
